Mary Simpson ext. 232
Mary is the President and Founder of Permit America, Inc. She has over 26 years in the OD/OW permitting industry. Mary's motto sums up her dedication to the business and its' customers, “Act like every permit application you receive today, was needed yesterday”.
Jim Simpson II ext. 221
Jim is the CEO and Co-Founder of Permit America. Jim has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Prior to assuming the full time role as CEO at Permit America, Jim worked for 15 years at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet where his duties included superload routing and bridge analysis. His primary focus at Permit America is “Continuous Improvement”. He strives to provide his staff with superior tools and the latest resources in order to deliver the best possible OD/OW transportation services.
Jimmy Simpson III ext. 242
Jimmy is the Systems Administrator for Permit America. Jimmy started with Permit America as an intern and now manages all of the technology requirements for both Permit America and Route America.
Deborah Dodson ext. 238
Debbie works as the executive assistant to the CEO, Jim Simpson. She has an extensive background in administrative work as well as both legal and secretarial experience. Debbie is a valued addition to the company and helps Permit America grow each day.
Permit Consultants
Kelly Starr ext. 464
Kelly has been with Permit America for 4 years, and has over 25 years experience in the OD/OW permitting business. Kelly is our expert in superload permits and is the Operations Manager for our Columbus, OH office.
Mary Ann Fry ext. 465
Mary Ann has been permitting OD/OW for OD/OW 25 years, 4 of which have been with Permit America. Mary Ann serves as the Office Manager in our Columbus office, and is our resident authority in regards to Ontario permits.
Erika Bako ext. 463
Erika is a permit consultant in our Columbus, OH office. She has been with Permit America for 4 years.
Jennifer Dugas ext. 224
Jennifer is the Operations Manager for the Kentucky Office. She has been with us for 4 years; she has a background in technology and enjoys the permit business because “it is something new every day”.
Kristy Mays ext. 226
Kristy has been with Permit America for 3 years. Her excellent organization and time management skills make her an outstanding consultant.
Julia Bryan ext 223
Julia Bryan has an associate degree in Computer Graphic Design from Spencerian College. She has been member of our permit consultant team for over a year, with 8 years of customer service experience.
Marka Woodruff ext 229
Marka Woodruff is a permit consultant with over 14 years of customer service experience. Marka currently serves as the lead consultant over our Keen Transport contract as well as managing some of the day to day logistics in the Kentucky office.
Amy Winkle ext 241
Amy Winkle is one of our newest permit consultants. She has a Bachelors degree in Anthropology from the University of Louisville and shows great aptitude and attention to detail in her daily work.
Accounting
Jennifer Umbel ext. 231
Jennifer has a 20 year background in accounting, and has spent the last 6 and half years with Permit America. Jennifer has an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Jefferson Community College.
Linda Martin ext. 228
Linda started with Permit America as a consultant, but later accepted a position in accounting. She has been with us for over 2 years, and is our current Golden PARA award winner for her hard work and dedication.
Compliance
Sean Rodgers ext. 227
Sean is our Director of Business Development and Compliance. Sean oversees our compliance division which handles IFTA/IRP Reporting/Auditing, Operating Authorities, CSA 2010 and Form 2290 tax filing.
Route America
Larry Glover ext. 222
15 years in manufacturing management; scheduling employee's daily jobs, training, and following a production schedule has made Larry a great asset to Route America. Larry has been with Route America for over one year, and has grown our database of pilot cars to cover the 48 states and Canada.
